This is a pencil drawing of my concept of how a boat-tail racer should look. It is a lowered 1917 Model T with a custom built steel body with wood framework. It has a modified Model T four cylinder engine with many performance modifications such as the modern looking chrome 4” exhaust pipe with a header, a “Z” high compression head, domed pistons, and a balanced rotating assembly. The wheels are 1926-27 Model T wire wheels. It stops with Rocky Mountain brakes and has a Ruckstell rear axle. The body and wheels are painted bright red. If I ever build a speedster, this is what it will look like.
