This ‘68 Chevy 1/2 ton long box truck is built for road course racing. It has a turbocharged, fuel injected, aluminum 540ci bigblock. A Richmond T-56, Art Morrison suspension and a Ford 9” handle the severe duty. Drop spindles give the proper stance while 17” and 18” wheels complete the look. The cab is chopped 2” and a 4” cowl hood was used. The top of the bed is covered and smoothed with steel and a NASCAR Truck style spoiler was added for downforce. An 8-point cage and 5-point Simpson harnesses keep the driver safe. Fog lights were located in the bumper, and turn signals  were moved to the front spoiler. The tail-lights were smoothed and C5 Corvette tail-lights were installed in the rear roll pan. It was shaved of all emblems, door handles, drip rails, and side lights before being painted Hugger Orange.
